Task Description
For this task we had to write facts about our Literacy group name which is based on a new Zealand author Margaret Mahy. Here is the presentation above, this is what we did.

Room 4 Maths

WALT-  Getting used to Room 4 Math's Norms. 


Task Description
In Room 4 Math's, we are learning how to get more comfortable in math's. In the top corner ( in my presentation) you will see a year seven, eight or nine depending on how far you want to push yourself in math's. When it says year seven in the corner it means the math's is at the level of an expected year 7's math's and so on. I pushed myself all the way to see how far my brain could go in Math's. It was really fun but I'm hoping to do work that is higher for a level for a year nine. I really want to see how far I can go with Math's this year!

The Pt England Way and The Treaty of Waitangi

Walt: State the differences and similarities about the Pt England way and The treaty of Waitangi.

Task Description

For this task we had to work in a group of 2 or 3 people. Zaeeda and Chastyti were in a group with me. We had to write what are the differences and similarities between our schools way and the Waitangi way. Enjoy!

Breaking out!

This morning we did maths! We played an exercise game which was Breakout EDU DIGITAL. It included Teamwork, Cooperation,Commuication and your brain. It was a Digital Break-out game. I was in my DMIC group with Zaeeda and Eden. We took a lot of time because it was our first time doing this and we had less people in our group. Overall, we had a great time doing this.

Predicting a chapter

This morning, Mrs Tele'a read Room 3 Literacy a book. 

It was named Unreal but the short story we read is Lighthouse Blues. 

We read 2 chapters and we had to predict what will happen next in Chapter 3.  I didn't get to finish this but this is the draft version. 

This is what I wrote.

Anton’s POVMy knees started shaking, I was terrified. “ Well, I think we’ve had enough time here. Let’s get going!” I said. We walked back quickly as I was petrified. On our way back we started talking about Stan’s family. “ Is it true that you can play the flute?” Stan asked. I replied “ Yeah, why do you ask?” “ Oh it’s just that everyone in our family plays an instrument but flute. So it’s cool to know someone that plays flute."

My first week at school for 2019!

On my first week at school I got to meet up with my friends again and I also got to meet my teachers for 2019. My home room and Literacy teacher is Mrs Tele'a and my Maths teacher is Mrs Stone. We got to do our Visual Mihi Art which was cool. We had lot's of fun for the first week. I wonder what is planned for us next week! Check out our team's Site for more information about this term.
