Black Lives Matter ✊πΎ
Task Description
I am aware of the racial issues happening around the world. I wanted to speak on the issue instead of being silent and turning a blind eye. Racism is real and exists in our world and community. I wanted to bring awareness to this and say that black lives matter. We have to stop normalising racism!

Hi Pisirina,
ReplyDeleteYou wrote so articulately about this issue! I was really impressed by your ability to discuss this complex matter and make sense of it all. The type of racism that exists now is quite different from what we first discussed, for many it is silence, not unkind words, that is contributing to a larger problem.
Kia Ora Pisirina!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Tiana and I am from Pompallier Catholic School.
Your awareness of Racism and standing up for what's right is inspiring and I'm proud to say to others around our Country/town as well that Black Lives Matter! Your post is a great way to spread the word and you have used high level vocabulary.
Let's stand together and make things right!
Hey Pisirina,
ReplyDeleteAwesome blog post! Very informative & educating to those who do lack the understanding of how racism affects not just the black community in America, but everyone around the world. Loved how you related this to your life with being a Christian & a person of colour WITHOUT taking the focus away from the racism towards the black community. Silence is definitely violence and I’m happy to tell you, that I too have been using my voice to increase the voices of our black community. Your strive & hunger for world peace & justice really shows through your blog, have you ever thought about being an activist when you grow older? I know you’ll grow to inspire many!
I look forward to seeing more awesome blogs from you this year! π
