Research Movie - Extension
For my Inquiry Research Presentation, my group’s point of view is Doctors. In our group there is Simon, Norah - Jade and me. I have been focussing on Health statistics for children especially for Maori and Pacific. As you can see I found a lot of information about my topic. There have been many ways to lower the rates on health issues for children. The main problem is Obesity. In New Zealand there are Childhood Obesity plans for children that have Obesity. That is a way that lower the rates for Obesity. There have also been lots of Surveys about some children's everyday lifestyle, what they eat or drink, what they do for exercise and more. Overall my main message is - As New Zealand is a multicultural country there have been many ways to lower the rates of obesity and health issues for children.

Task Description
Room Seven Maths decided to do some Statistics today and be some Data Detectives. We had a Typing speed challenge. We then told our scores to Mr Goodwin. I typed down 23 words in one minute. We had to display and analyse everyone's score in the correct order. Above you will see the Bar/Column Graph I made with my class.

Thinking in other people's shoes!
Walt:understand the text from the perspectives of the characters
Task Description
The Imacs group had to read a book named Fangs: The sequal. After we read that we had to think from a character's perspective from the story. We wrote what we thought they felt and thought. This is a hard skill to achieve and I think I am getting better at thinking in other peoples shoes.

Vocabulary (No Fangs)
Walt: Use the text to understand new vocabulary (words) in the story.
Task Description
In my reading group( Imac's ), we had to do the task above. We were asked to do the definition of these words in the novel we read. Once we finished that, we had to show an example of that word in a sentence. The words that we were assigned to us was a bit difficult but I managed to pull it off.

In this task, my whole space had to describe a monster or alien however we wanted to. My presentation includes two descriptions about two monsters. This took me a long time to write because descriptive writing is not one of my strengths in Writing, but it was a good practise for upcoming events like a exam/test and many more.
