Pisirina Visual Mihi

 


Talofa Lava, my name is Pisirina. I have seven people in my family including me. I have four best friends, they are Levonah, Eden, Chance and Jahzara. I am  full Samoan, I am also  a christian. I go to church every Sunday, I never  miss a church day. The sport I play and enjoy is netball.

This week's task is we have to make up a person who is wanted for something that is associated with the environment. My person is based on Harley Quinn, I chose her cause she has a cheeky look and she is cheeky.

When I step outside, I notice how beautiful and green the earth (grass and trees) is. When I inhale  the fresh scent of nature hits me. So when I sit on the grass, It feels like a needle wanting to take the blood out of me. I hear the wind whistling through my ears and the birds chirping loudly. I taste the salty raindrops falling onto my tongue.

Untie the human knot

Today’s morning started very unusual. We started the day off as usual until Miss west said we are going to play a game. The game is called Untie the human knot.

What do you mean? I’m so confused.

Miss West split us into 3 groups with about 10 people in it. I was in the first group. A.K.A the best group.

We had to put our right hand in the air and hold another person's hand across you, then we did the same thing with our left hand. When we heard miss west say go, we all started to untangle ourselves. Toby wanted everyone to listen to him but everyone went their separate ways and by that I mean we split into 2 groups. We were behaving  so well that we got to play about 3 times.

Miss West said “”stop” we all quietly walked to the mat sitting up nicely. One thing I think we should work on next time is to work as a group.

 Last week we learnt problem solving and place value. Levonah and chance helped me on this.

We are learning about place value. My thoughts on this are it was really easy but I struggled a little on the subtraction.
