STAND UP! - Reading 2020



Task Description
Stand up! We learnt bout the history of protest that happened in New Zealand. We learnt about the different ways on how to protest and we also got to read about the different movements that happened in Aotearoa. I wrote about the womens sufferage and shared my opinion. ENJOY!!

    Kia ora Pisirina,

    What a great series of slides - it is clear you understand the text! I've just been reading about the governments public apology to Parihaka and I found out they baked and ate bread in memory of the past. You make a great point that we still have a little way to go to get equality for women. What do you think Kate Sheppard would think of NZ today?
