Task Description

Hopefully this will be our last tasks to do about decimal, fractions and percentages. I was a little bit confused on the finding fractions in between fractions but I got a hang of it by converting it into decimals which made it much easier. This was a fast process as my knowledge of decimals,fractions and percentages. Enjoy!

TASK DESCRIPTION
For the last week of the term we are finishing off the term with Decimals. Room 4 Maths started off the slides by doing Equivalent Fractions. Next we did two slides of Decimal Dilemma which is adding and subtracting Decimals. We then converted decimals into fractions then into percentages. I finished all the slides on the presentation so I guess you could I gave it my 100% (Get it! BTW it's a Maths pun). Enjoy!

If you have noticed this week, I have finished my Maths work from Room 4 early. I got challenged from Mrs Ilaoa ( Team Leader ) to try and complete her Maths Slide. This was easy as Mrs Stone taught us about Fractions and Percentages. Decimals was easy too thanks to Mrs Stone and Mr Goodwin. The presentation above shows my working on every question. Enjoy!

Task Description
Room 4 Maths is finally focusing on Decimals! We first started off by doing a recap on Fractions to make sure we have enough knowledge to move onto Decimals. Adding and Subtracting fraction decimals which were easy. On the 4th slide we converted fractions into decimals. This was easy as I was familiar with converting, thanks to Maths Whizz! We then converted decimals to fractions. Subtracting decimals was hard at first but if you know that each position in a decimal number has a value that is a power of ten then it will be easy.  This was a fun process and I can't wait for more Decimal Fractions problems to solve! Enjoy!

For this task we were learning about Decimal place values. I already knew a lot about decimals but I still absorbed a lot of learning about this. We had to write a decimal number by looking at the written form. Hopefully you enjoy and nderstand my work!

This week we are learning about Decimals. We had to show our working on a paper and take a photo on our Chromebook to show proof on how we worked it out. This was an easy task to do. I hope we get handed more of these problems.

For this task we had to add the centimeters. The hard thing was I had to ad decimals together. Decimals are really hard to work with but it was cool. I used Multiplication and Addition.
