We're finally in Term 4! Last term for this year and for my schooling years at PES. My class and I have dived straight into Maths. I'm starting to learn more Algebra. We also have exams soon, so I am working extra hard to revise, learn and remember what I have learnt this year. Yes!, Covid19 was an obstacle but it didn't stop me from learning online through Google Meets with my teacher and classmates.
Let's do well this term, shall we?

Volumetric Problem - Maths 2020
On wednesday, we did a little DMIC task. It was about volum. The task was to make a box by cutting the corners of a square. We had to figure out what was the maximum possible volume? We did this by grouping up, and choosing different numbers to cut up. Check the slides above to see more!

Tongan travel! - Maths 2020

It was really easy here is the sites that we got the equation from. It was so fun.

In each graph, the uncle and aunts were in the same place. I first had to find out who was the first dot. It was Aunty Ana because she had the most children and was the first dot that was the highest on the most children chart. I found out that Uncle Loni was the second dot because it said he was the tallest and it showed in the Height graph. Uncle Pita was the third dot because he was the oldest and it also showed on the age chart. Which then leaves Aunty Kuini as the last dot on every graph.

Love's 3D Shapes - Maths 2020
Task Description
We had a recap on our learning about 3D shapes. We've learnt many names on how you can classify shapes such as ellipsoid, prisms and polyhedrons. I learnt what a net is. We also got to create our own shapes using a paper net. It took a long time but so worth it. Enjoy!

Quadrilateral & Parallelograms - Maths 2020
Task Description
I learnt about Quadrilaterals. A quadrilateral shape is a shape with 4 sides and 4 angles. They don't have to be equal or a regular shape. I also learnt about parallelograms, they are shapes that have parallel lines. My last task was to find the missing angle of a quadrilateral shapes.

Which Graph? - Maths 2020
Task Description
The presentation above was actually meant to be posted last month but I didn't have enough time but here I am posting it now. Hello! The presentation above display various graphs that my teacher - Mrs Stone has made. One of the tasks I had to accomplish was to match the graph to its function. It was easy. I also had to choose the best graph that would fit the data type that is given with a scenario. Lastly, I made a graph with some random data that Mrs Stone provided for us. I made conclusions about the graph and more. Enjoy!

Line Graphs π !!! - Maths 2020
Task Description
This week we are focussing on Line Graphs. I am so happy with the graph that we are studying. The slides above was somewhat easy but it did take a hour and half to finish. My literacy strengths pulled through and help made the mathswork easy. I really liked the Covid19 graph slide a lot and wrote a long conclusion for the graph. I also created my own graph but Mrs Stone provided the information for our class to convert into a graph. The work was very fun!
Stay Safe!!!
