Line Graphs πŸ“ˆ !!! - Maths 2020

Task Description
This week we are focussing on Line Graphs. I am so happy with the graph that we are studying. The slides above was somewhat easy but it did take a hour and half to finish. My literacy strengths pulled through and help made the mathswork easy. I really liked the Covid19 graph slide a lot and wrote a long conclusion for the graph. I also created my own graph but Mrs Stone provided the information for our class to convert into a graph. The work was very fun!

Stay Safe!!!

Bar Graphs - 2020

Task Description
This was yesterdays work but I didn't have time to post it then but now I do and this is my presentation for the work. Focussing on reading graphs, yesterday we were mainly going over the basics of a bar graph and how to read it. I learnt how to make precise and deep conclusions from yesterday and todays maths work. I am looking forward to what other graphs we will look at, hopefully line graphs as they are challenging and something I need to get stronger at understanding.

Pie Graphs Conclusions - 2020

Task Description
Today's work is focussed on Pie Graphs. I had to look at Pie charts and make conclusions about what the graph is showing. I also created my own graph using data that Mrs Stone prepared/made up for us. This was kind of easy especially when I have already had a lot of experience with Statistics and reading graphs from previous years. ENJOYYYY!!!!

3 x 3 = 9 5 x 5 = 25 8 x 7 = 56 12 x 10 = 120 4 x 6 =24 5 x 7 =35

2 x 4 =8 3 x 8 =24 9 x 8 =72 4 x 7 =28 9 x 7 = 63

Show your working for the following problems, either on here or in your books

Zaeeda has bought her sister a new puppy. She has $500 in her bank account as she heads to the shops.
She first buys a dog bed for $60. How much money does she have left?
500 - 60 = $440

She then buys a bowl for $25. How much does she have left? 440 - 25 = $415

Then she buys 3 chew toys. Each toy costs $3.50. How much does she have left? 415 - 10.50 = $404.50

Finally she buys a diamond collar for the dog which costs $154.50. How much is left in her account at the end of the day? $404.50 - 100.50 = $304
$304 - 54 = $250

Addition Pyramid - Maths 2020

Maths for this week is Addition. The image above is the task I had to solve, this is a Addition pyramid. You start from the bottom and add the two numbers to get the number above. For example, 19 + 43 = 62 - the number above 19 and 43.  You can do the same to the other numbers too.

 Hope You Enjoy!
